Daniel B. Kinnamon graduated cum laude from the University of Iowa School of Law in 1962 and is a senior of counsel member and former chairman of the Erickson | Sederstrom Corporate, Business, Real Estate, Probate and Estate Planning Practice Groups. Mr. Kinnamon serves on several sections of the American Bar Association, including the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section and the section of Corporation, Banking and Business Law.
Mr. Kinnamon has 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate practice. He has represented major corporations, lenders, developers and owners in advising, negotiating agreements and preparing all legal documents involving transactions for the leasing, purchase, sale and development of various real estate projects, including office buildings, industrial properties and other commercial properties. Mr. Kinnamon has also conducted an extensive probate and estate planning practice advising clients on various wealth transfer devices and plans including the federal estate tax implications of such devices and plans and drafting and preparing the necessary trusts, wills and other estate planning documents to effectuate such wealth transfer plans.
